Y'know, I was watching TV the other day, and one of those commercials that persuade kids to join the army came on. I've gotta say, those are some pretty enticing commercials. But, from what I hear about the bases and training that goes on there, the campaigns are really misleading. I'm not sure how everything operates over there, but if what I've seen on television really is any indication as to how their plans unfold, it goes a little something like this:



Soldier 1: Srgt., our troops are under mass assailance!
Soldier 2: What should we do, Srgt.?!

Srgt.: There's only one thing left to do, boys...

Soldier 1: What is is, sir?

Srgt.: It's devastating. It's our most drastic measure, but it must be taken.

Soldier 2: No! No! Anything but that!
Soldier 1: I'm too young to die that way! I got a wife an' two kids at home!

Srgt.: I'm sorry, soldiers. It has to be done, for the honor and glory of our beloved country.

Soldiers 1 and 2: (in unison) Have mercy, Srgt.!

Srgt.: I fear that I cannot. We must... RAPPEL DOWN THE NEAREST CLIFF! WOO-HOO!
